ICE BOX PICKLES 
1 quart jar
Cucumbers, sliced
Onions, sliced
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. salt
1/4 tsp. celery salt

Pack cucumbers and onions in quart jar. Mix sugar, vinegar, salt and celery salt. Pour over cucumbers. Place a sheet of waxed paper over top of jar. Place lid on jar. Turn jar upside down for 24 hours. Turn right side up and store in refrigerator for 7 days before using.
