PUMPKIN BREAD 
3 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
1 2/3 c. pumpkin (1 lb. can)
4 eggs, beaten
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
2/3 c. water

Grease 2 (9x5x3) inch loaf pans and dust lightly with flour. Combine sugar, oil, pumpkin and eggs and beat until light and fluffy. Sift flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice onto wax paper. Add to pumpkin mixture alternating with water. Mix until blended; turn into pans. Bake at 350 F. for 45 minutes or until center springs back to touch. Cool in pans 10 minutes and turn out on wire rack. (Nice baked in bundt pan too.)
