CRISPY CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER
BARS
 
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. peanut butter
2 c. crisp rice cereal
1 c. corn flakes, slightly crushed
6 oz. pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 tsp. vanilla

In 2 quart saucepan combine corn syrup, brown sugar and dash of salt. Cook and stir until mixture comes to a full boil. Stir in peanut butter. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate pieces, cereals and vanilla. Press into ungreased 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Chill 1 hour. Cut into bars.
