GRANDMA'S PERFECT PASTRY | |
3 c. flour 1 c. shortening 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. sugar 1 egg, beaten 1/3 c. ice water 1 tbsp. vinegar Mix together flour, shortening, salt and pepper. Set aside. Mix together egg, water and vinegar. Combine the two mixtures and stir with fork until all ingredients are moistened. Mold into a ball. Chill 15 minutes before rolling out. Makes 4 crusts. Will keep in refrigerator three days. |
