ITALIAN GREEN BEAN STEW 
2 lbs. country style pork chops or spare ribs
1 lb. Italian meatballs
2 lbs. fresh green beans (diagonally cut)
1 jar thick tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 potatoes, cubed
Salt & pepper to taste

Or 3 bags frozen Italian flat beans.

Trim fat from pork and brown in skillet sprayed with Pam. Add onions and garlic and saute. In large Dutch oven add sauteed combination plus tomato paste. Follow with 1 can water; cook over medium heat. Add tomato sauce and 1/2 jar water. Add beans, potatoes and meatballs. Cover and simmer over low heat until tender, about 1 hour. Salt and pepper to taste. Remove lid and simmer for an additional hour. Serves 6 to 8.
