MANDARIN ORANGE SALAD 
1/4 c. sliced almonds
4 tsp. sugar

Cook almonds and sugar over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar is melted and almonds are coated. Cool, break apart, and store at room temperature

1/4 head lettuce
1/2 bunch Romaine lettuce, torn
2 med. stalks celery, chopped
2 green onions and tops, sliced
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
Place all in large plastic bag.

SWEET SOUR DRESSING:

1/2 c. oil
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper

Shake together in jar. Refrigerate. When ready to serve, add dressing and almonds. Close and shake bag.
