CALYPSO ICE CREAM PIE 
18 Oreo cookies (without middles)
1/4 c. butter
1 qt. ice cream
1/4 c. chopped peanuts
1 env. Dream Whip

CHOCOLATE SAUCE:

3 sqs. unsweetened chocolate
1/4 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Crush cookies and blend with melted butter. Press mixture into a 8 x 12 inch pan or 2 ice trays. Place in freezer. Soften ice cream and spread over cookie crust and return to freezer for at least 1 1/2 hour. Prepare chocolate sauce (see below); cool and spread over ice cream layer. Sprinkle with nuts. Return to freezer. Whip up Dream Whip following package directions and spread on top of layers. Cover with foil and return to freezer (can hold several weeks). Enjoy!

Chocolate Sauce: Melt chocolate and butter in double boiler. Stir in sugar. Gradually add evaporated milk. Cook 5 to 10 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Cool.
