IOWA BROWNIES (WITH ICING) 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 (1 lb.) can chocolate syrup
4 eggs
1 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in chocolate syrup, then eggs one at a time. Beat in flour gradually. Fold in nuts. Pour into greased 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. chocolate chips

In saucepan, combine butter, sugar and milk. Bring to boiling and boil for 1 minute. Stir in chocolate chips and heat and stir until melted. Frosting will be thin and glossy. When brownies are done, frost immediately, spreading frosting with wet knife. Score in squares before frosting sets.
