CARAMEL LAYER BARS 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. Kraft Caramels
1/3 c. evaporated milk

Combine in heavy saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring until melted. Keep warm. 3/4 c. melted butter 1/3 c. evaporated milk 1 c. chopped nuts

Combine in large bowl. By hand, stir until dough holds together. Press 1/2 of dough into greased 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes.

Sprinkle 1 cup chocolate chips over baked crust. Spread caramel mixture over and crumble rest of dough over caramel mixture. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Cool in pan.
