MARINATED CUCUMBER SALAD 
1 c. Italian-style cooking sauce
1/2 c. salad oil
2 tsp. salt
3 c. sliced carrots
1 sm. green pepper, cut in rings
1 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 med. cucumbers
1 med. onion

Combine the above ingredients in a large bowl. Coat with cooking sauce. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight, stirring occasionally. Drain, refrigerating marinade for use another time. Serve in lettuce-lined bowls. Makes 8 servings.
