PINEAPPLE CREAM CHEESE SALAD 
1 can crushed pineapple
3/4 c. sugar
1 pkg. lemon Jello
8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese
1/2 pt. whipping cream
Maraschino cherries
Walnuts

Drain pineapple and save juice to use when making Jello. Cook pineapple and sugar 3 minutes. Add softened cream cheese, stirring until well mixed. Chill. Make Jello and chill until it is the consistency of egg whites. Chop cherries and walnuts. Whip the cream. When the Jello is set, combine all ingredients. As soon as Jello is completely set, decorate top with cherry halves and walnut halves.

Add some of the cherries and walnuts to inside of Jello - and save some for decorating top of Jello.
