MID-WESTERN SLOPPY JOES 
3 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 green pepper
1 med. onion
1 c. celery
3 sm. cans tomato paste
3 tomato paste cans of water
1 tbsp. Worcestershire
1/2 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. prepared mustard
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. bread crumbs

Chop vegetables. Brown meat and drain. In the same skillet cook vegetables until tender. Add meat and all other ingredients and mix well. Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve on buns.
