BARBECUED PORK AND BEANS 
1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans, undrained
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. diced green pepper
1 slice bacon, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 c. catsup
2 tbsp. brown sugar or maple-flavored syrup
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Dash of pepper
2 tbsp. butter

Combine all ingredients except butter, mixing well. Spoon into a lightly greased 1-quart casserole, and dot with butter. Bake at 425 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Yield: 4 servings.
