Prebaked 9 inch pie shell
Approximately 4 c. strawberries
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. lemon juice
Whip cream or vanilla ice cream for topping (optional)

Fill pie shell with sliced strawberries. Place 1 1/2 cups strawberries in saucepan and smush them. Stir cornstarch and sugar together and add to strawberries along with the lemon juice. Bring to boil while stirring and boil for 1 minute. Let cool for a few minutes, then pour over strawberries in pie shell. Let cool in refrigerator until firm. Share with best friends and enemies - they'll all love you for it.
