GOURMET MEAT LOAF 
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. fresh mushroom slices
1/4 c. chopped onions
1 c. sour cream
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. uncooked oats
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. tomato juice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper

Make filling: In small frying pan saute onions and mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes, stirring. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Mix lightly until combined.

Make meat loaf: In large bowl combine remaining ingredients; mix well.

In lightly greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan place 1/2 of meat mixture. Make an indentation lengthwise down the center. Spoon in filling. Spoon remaining mixture over filling. Place top and bottom layers together. Bake in preheated oven at 300 degrees for 45 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Serves 4.
