NUT ROLLS 
1 lb. butter
6 egg yolks
1 pt. sour cream
7 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 lg. cake yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, egg yolks, and sour cream. Sift flour, sugar, and salt. Dissolve yeast in milk. Add flour mixture to butter alternately with dissolved yeast and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Work dough until it does not stick to your hands or bowl. Divide into 6 equal balls. Place on board or table cloth and cover with dish towel for 2 to 3 hours. Roll out dough on floured surface to 1/2 inch thickness; cover with nut filling. Roll as for jelly roll. Brush top with egg that has been beaten with a little milk. Bake in 350 degree oven 30 to 45 minutes.

NUT FILLING:

2 lbs. walnuts, ground
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. honey
1 c. milk

Combine nuts with sugar. Beat eggs and add to mixture. Add honey and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil, remove from heat, and cool.
