MACARONI & CHEESE CASSEROLE | |
1 (7 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni 2 c. cottage cheese 1 c. sour cream 1 egg, slightly beaten 3/4 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. mustard 10 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Mix cottage cheese, sour cream, egg, salt, mustard, and shredded cheese (reserve about 2 ounces cheese for topping). Add hot, drained macaroni to cheese mixture and mix well. Pour into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. |
