PLANTATION POPPY SEED CAKE 
1 (18.5 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
1 (3 3/4 oz.) instant vanilla pudding pie filling mix
4 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. sherry
1/2 c. salad oil
1/4 c. poppy seed

Combine everything, stirring until well blended. Beat at medium speed of mixer 2 minutes. Pour batter into well greased 10 inch tube pan. Bake 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Serve warm or cool.
