2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix together flour and sugar. Combine butter, oil, water, and cocoa. Bring to rapid boil. Pour over flour mixture and blend well. Stir in eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, soda, and buttermilk. Pour batter onto oiled cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

ICING:

1 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts

Bring butter, milk, cocoa to a rapid boil. Remove from heat. Add vanilla, nuts, and powdered sugar. Blend well. Spread on cake as soon as it is removed from oven.
