3 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. oregano
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
2 tbsp. sweet basil
1 c. onions, chopped
1 tsp. garlic salt
4 c. tomato puree
1 c. tomato paste
3 c. water
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Brown beef and onions. Drain and place in pot with other ingredients. Simmer on low for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Keep pot uncovered. I use a crock-pot on medium to low.
