BLACK AND WHITE CUPCAKES 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg, unbeaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cold water
1/2 c. cooking oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

In a small mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, egg, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 teaspoon salt; stir in chocolate chips and set aside.

Sift in large mixing bowl flour, 1 cup sugar, cocoa, baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add to sifted ingredients cold water, cooking oil, vinegar and vanilla. Beat well.

Fill mini muffin pans (lined with cups) 1/3 full with chocolate batter. Top each with 1 teaspoon of cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
