LEMON TOPPING FOR ANGEL FOOD 
2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/2 c. lemon juice
3/4 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, slightly beaten

Combine rind, juice, sugar and butter in saucepan. Cook over low heat, stir constantly until butter is melted and sugar dissolved. Remove from heat. Stir well. Blend in beaten eggs and cook and stir continually until thick and bubbly. Serve on angel food. Top with Cool Whip.
