RANGER COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. oats
1 c. whole wheat flakes
1/2 c. shredded coconut

Cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased sheet. Bake 375 degrees 10 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
