RAISIN CUSTARD PIE 
1 baked pastry shell
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/3 c. milk (I use canned milk)
3 egg yolks (beaten)
2 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. steamed raisins

Mix sugar, cornstarch, and salt in saucepan. Gradually stir in milk. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Stir a little of hot mixture in egg yolk and add to remaining hot mixture. Cook 1 minute longer. Stir in butter, vanilla and raisins. Cool slightly.
