QUICK APPLE STRUDEL 
STRUDEL DOUGH:

2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 lb. butter
3 egg yolks
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
1/4 c. water

Cut butter into flour as you would for pie crust. Add egg yolks, vinegar and water; mix well. Divide dough into 3 parts. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

STRUDEL FILLING:

9 med. cooking apple, peeled, cored & sliced
3 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. walnuts (optional)
butter

Work one at a time. Roll out on a floured cheesecloth thin to fit 10 1/2" x 15 1/2" cookie sheet.

Arrange 3 peeled and sliced apples along long edge of dough. Sprinkle each one with 1 tablespoon flour, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 cup sugar, walnuts and 3 teaspoons butter. Then roll up dough. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
