1/4 lb. butter
2 c. granulated sugar
6 eggs, beaten
Grated rind of 2 lemons
Juice of 3 lemons

Combine all ingredients in top of double boiler. Cook stirring occasionally until thick. Cool. Store in jars in refrigerator. Serve into small pastry tarts.
