BLUEBERRY MUFFINS 
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
1/2 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. Maine blueberries, fresh or frozen

Cream vegetable shortening with the sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Add the milk and mix well again. Sift into the first mixture the flour, baking powder and salt. Mix again. Fold in the blueberries. Fill muffin tins. Bake in a 375 degree oven for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
