CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. butter, room temperature
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 c. oatmeal, regular or quick cooking
1/2 of 6 oz. Hershey milk chocolate bar
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, etc.)

Cream together butter and brown and white sugars. Add the eggs and stir in the salt, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla and flour. In a blender or food processor, combine oatmeal and Hershey bar. Add to batter along with chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 325 to 350 degree oven for 10 to 13 minutes. Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
