SPICED PEACHES 
large can cling peach halves (29 oz.)
1/2 c. white or brown sugar
1/2 c. cider vinegar
6 whole cloves
3 whole allspice
1 cinnamon stick

Drain peaches. Combine sugar, vinegar and spices. Bring to a boil and simmer 5 minutes. Add peaches and simmer 5 minutes more. Remove from heat and allow peaches to cool in liquid. Serve warm or cold as a meat accompaniment or salad.
