MICROWAVE NUT BRITTLE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. white syrup

Cook on high 4 minutes. Add 1 cup nuts. Cook 4 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla; cook 2 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda. Pour onto greased cookie sheets. Cool and break up.

Note: Use a 2 to 3 quart microwave-safe bowl.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
