GREEN GRAPE SALAD 
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows
2 lb. seedless green grapes
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
Lettuce
Mayonnaise (optional)
8-10 maraschino cherries (optional)

In saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Blend in flour, add milk and cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and bubbles. Stir in marshmallows and remove from heat. When cool, beat well. Pour over a mixture of grapes, pecans, and pineapple. Mix well and refrigerate overnight. Serve on lettuce.

NOTE: This makes a pretty, holiday salad when topped with a tablespoon mayonnaise and a maraschino cherry.
