IRISH SODA BREAD 
4 c. flour (2 c. white and 2 c. wheat or wheat and rye combination)
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk or enough to make a moist dough - or you can use plain yogurt
Add raisins or nuts, be creative!

Mix dry ingredients. Add buttermilk. Form into a round ball. Cut across top to allow expansion. Bake at 450 degrees for 45 minutes, until golden brown.
