ZUCCHINI PICKLES 
4 med. zucchini (sliced thin or enough to make 1 qt.)
1 sm. green pepper, chopped
2 sm. onions, sliced thin
4 tsp. pickling salt
2 trays ice cubes
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. dill weed
1 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. celery seed

Put zucchini, pepper, onion, pickling salt and ice cubes in large bowl. Let stand at room temperature 3 hours and drain well. Bring sugar, vinegar and seasoning to boil. Add vegetables and heat just to boiling point, ladle into jars and seal.
