CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE 
4 or 5 lbs. corned beef brisket
2 med. onions, quartered
1 head of cabbage, cut into sm. wedges
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. vinegar
3 tbsp. sugar
2 c. water

Combine ingredients in crock pot with cabbage on top. Cut meat to fit, if necessary. Cover and cook (low 10 to 12 hours), High (6 to 7 hours) or automatic (6 to 8 hours). 6 to 8 servings.
