KUGELIS OR GRATED POTATO PUDDING 
6 to 7 lg. potatoes, peeled & grated
1 to 2 med. onions, chopped
2 to 3 eggs, well beaten
1 c. hot milk
6 tbsp. butter
1 to 1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1 tbsp. tapioca or flour
1 tbsp. cream of wheat
Buttermilk

1. Peel and grate potatoes. When using food blender on grate add about a tablespoon of buttermilk prior to grind. Drain grated potatoes through sieve.

2. Saute onion with butter until soft and add milk to heat.

3. Add #2 to #1.

4. Mix in dry ingredients.

5. Add beaten eggs.

6. Mix in well buttered shallow baking pan, 7 x 12 inches. Bake in 375 degree preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with sour cream.
