FRESH APPLE SLICES 
CRUST:

2 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. Crisco
1 egg yolk & enough water to make 2/3 c.
2/3 c. crushed corn flakes (do not add to crust mix)

FILLING:

5 c. sliced apples
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

GLAZE:

1 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tbsp. milk

Mix crust using flour, sugar, salt, Crisco and egg yolk-water mixture. Divide crust into 2 parts. Roll crust into ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with 2/3 cup corn flakes. Top with apples, sugar and cinnamon. Cover with rest of crust. Brush top with beaten egg white. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Glaze when cool.
