STEPHANIE'S OATMEAL DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. molasses
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and molasses thoroughly. Stir dry ingredients together and blend. Stir in oats, nuts and raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoons about 2" apart onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes about 6 dozen.
