GOULASH 
1 c. small shell macaroni
Boiling water
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 c. sliced celery
1 (2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, undrained
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1/2 c. ketchup
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Place macaroni in small bowl; cover with boiling water; set aside. While macaroni blanches, saute ground beef and onion together in large skillet until beef loses redness and onion is transparent; drain fat.

Drain macaroni thoroughly; add meat mixture along with remaining ingredients and 1/2 cup water. Mix thoroughly. Cover; simmer 20 to 25 minutes stirring occasionally. Makes 6 servings.
