DENA'S LEMON BREAD | |
1/2 c. butter, softened 1 1/4 c. sugar 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1 tbsp. grated lemon peel 1/2 tsp. lemon extract or 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 c. milk 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. chopped pecans Heat oven to 350°F. Grease loaf pan. Combine butter and sugar. Mix well. Add eggs, lemon peel, extract and milk. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Stir until just moistened. Fold in nuts. Pour into pan. Bake 50 to 60 minutes. |
