ROUND STEAK GOULASH 
1/2 c. shortening
2 lb. round steak, cut in 1" cubes
1 c. onion, sliced
1 sm. clove garlic, minced
3/4 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 c. hot cooked noodles
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. paprika
Dash cayenne
1 1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. water

Melt shortening in large skillet or Dutch oven. Add beef, onion and garlic. Cook and stir until meat is brown and onion is tender. Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire, sugar, salt, paprika, cayenne and 1 1/2 cups of water.

Cover and simmer 2-2 1/2 hours. Blend flour and 1/4 cup of water. Stir into meat mixture. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Serve over hot noodles. Serves 6-8.
