CHOCOLATE MINT FUDGE | |
3 c. sugar 3/4 c. butter 2/3 c. evaporated milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (6 oz.) pkg. Nestle's mint chocolate morsels 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme 1 c. nuts, chopped Combine sugar, butter, and milk in heavy 2 1/2 quart saucepan. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate pieces until melted. Add marshmallow creme, nuts, and vanilla; beat until well blended. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Cool at room temperature. Cut into squares. VARIATIONS: Substitute 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky) instead of chocolate pieces. |
