MAPLE FLAVORED SYRUP 
4 c. sugar
1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. imitation maple flavor

Combine sugars, corn syrup and water. Stir until dissolved; bring to a boil. Cover and boil gently 10 minutes. DO NOT STIR. Remove from heat, cool slightly. Add vanilla and imitation maple flavor. Stir only until mixed. Makes 1 quart.

MAPLE MILK SHAKE: In blender jar combine 1 cup milk and 1/2 teaspoon imitation maple flavor. Add 1 pint vanilla ice cream. Blend at low speed just until mixed. Makes 2 (10 oz.) servings.
