2 lb. hamburger
1 egg
2 slices dry bread
1 sm. onion
1 (4 oz.) can tomato sauce
9 slices American cheese

Mix all ingredients except cheese. Mix thoroughly and spread on wax paper into a rectangle. Place cheese on top and roll like a jelly roll. Bake in loaf pan at 250 degrees for 1 hour.
