LAYERED SPAGHETTI BAKE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion
1 tsp. minced garlic
32 oz. jar Ragu Thick and Hearty sauce
1/4 c. water
1/4 tsp. basil leaves
8 oz. pkg. spaghetti or linguine
2 c. cottage cheese
1 egg, beaten
8 oz. pkg. shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

In large skillet, combine beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain well. Stir in sauce, water and basil; bring to a boil and reduce heat. Simmer 10 minutes. Prepare spaghetti or linguine according to directions and drain. In small bowl, mix cottage cheese and egg. Spread thin layer of sauce in 9 x 13 inch dish. Layer half each spaghetti, cottage cheese, sauce and mozzarella. Repeat layers. Top with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
