3 cloves garlic, crushed 1 med. onion, chopped 1/2 c. boiled shrimp, sliced in long narrow strips 1 c. boiled chicken, flaked 1 carrot, chopped 1 to 1 1/2 c. chicken broth 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1/2 c. cabbage, shredded 1/2 c. celery, chopped 1 (8 oz.) pkg. rice stick noodles, soaked in cold water 15 minutes, drained Salt & MSG to taste 2 green onions, sliced 1 hard-cooked egg, sliced Saute garlic and onions. Add the shrimp. When shrimp turns pink, add chicken, then carrots. Add broth and soy sauce. When mixture boils, add the cabbage and celery, then the drained noodles. Stir gently until noodles are tender. Arrange on a platter. Garnish with green onions and sliced egg. |
