FRIED APPLES 
3 medium apples, peeled and sliced
2 tbsp. sugar or sugar substitute
1 tbsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. butter

Peel and slice apples (about 12 pieces per apple) in a bowl; add sugar and cinnamon on top and toss well to coat all apples. Heat butter in large skillet; fry apples in a single layer, turning apples over once. Fry about 5 minutes on each side until apples are semi soft. Delicious served as a side dish with chicken or pork.
