TOFFIE COOKIE BARS | |
40 saltine crackers 1 c. brown sugar, packed 1 c. butter (only butter) 1 pkg. chocolate chips 1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans) Line bottom of cookie sheet with foil. Line crackers on foil in single layer. Combine butter and sugar in pan and bring to a boil. Boil hard for 3 minutes. Pour over crackers and spread evenly. Bake in 350 degree oven for 5 minutes. Remove from oven. Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top. When they start to melt, spread out evenly. Sprinkle nuts on top and refrigerate until cool. Break into pieces. Note: The more chocolate chips you use the better! |
