LASAGNE (WITHOUT BOILING
NOODLES)
 
1 1/2 lb.ground beef
1 clove garlic
2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 sm. can tomato paste
1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 (10 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles, UNCOOKED
1 (16 oz.) carton cottage cheese
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. Mozzarella, grated

Brown meat. Add next 8 ingredients and simmer 30 minutes. Combine cottage cheese, eggs, parsley, Parmesan, salt and pepper. Place half of UNCOOKED lasagne noodles over a couple of tablespoons of the sauce which has been spread thinly over bottom of 9x13 inch baking dish. Over the noodles, layer half of the sauce, then half of cottage cheese mixture, then half of shredded Mozzarella. Repeat layer of noodles, sauce, cottage cheese mixture and finally Mozzarella.

Cover tightly with tin foil and bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees. (Spray tin foil first with Pam to keep it from sticking to the Mozzarella.)
