STEAK & ALE MARINADE 
1 c. & 5 oz. soy sauce
2 c. sherry
46 oz. pineapple juice
6 oz. red wine vinegar
1 c. & 2 oz. sugar
2 tsp. granulated garlic salt

Mix all ingredients and soak steak, chicken or chops overnight in refrigerator. Chicken is best when soaked overnight. Cooks claim that 1/3 of this recipe is enough for a 3 pound chicken or steak.

It's pretty close to Steak & Ale's recipe, but not exact. I made this hundreds of times while working for them, so I know the real recipe. The batches I made were about 4 times this size. Change the red wine vinegar to 7 ounces and get rid of the garlic salt. We didn't use that. We used granulated garlic, which this size recipe, should be just a smidge more than 1 tsp.
