SNOW BALLS 
3/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. evaporated milk
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 tbsp. confectioners' sugar
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream shortening. Beat in milk and vanilla. Sift flour twice. Add nuts and creamed ingredients. Roll into small balls about 1 inch in diameter. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. After cookies are baked, roll them in the confectioners' sugar. Makes 2 dozen.
